Dr. Alexandra de Hoop Scheffer, from the think tank German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF). Alexandra is Senior Vice President and member of the executive team of GMF. She is a renowned expert in European affairs, transatlantic relations, and geopolitics. Prior to joining GMF in 2012, she held several advisory positions in the French government, academia and international organizations (NATO and United Nations).
