CFA Society Netherlands is an endorsed local sponsor of the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®). The GIPS standards were created and are administered by CFA Institute and are voluntary standards based on the fundamental principles of full disclosure and fair representation of investment performance results. These global standards for investment performance reporting give investors the additional transparency they need to compare and evaluate investment managers.

As a local sponsor of the GIPS standards, the CFA Society Netherlands Investment Performance Measurement (IPM) Committee functions in the Dutch market as a platform for conducting discussions and providing input on national and global initiatives regarding performance measurement. The committee is also tasked with the further development, implementation, and acceptance of the GIPS standards in the Dutch market.
