We are excited to welcome you to our upcoming event, jointly organized by the DEI and Career Committees, exploring the future of AI and careers in the finance industry.
Our two speakers will share valuable perspectives on one of the most pressing topics in today’s professional landscape: how AI is affecting people’s assumptions on others, as well as shaping career development, transforming industries, and creating new opportunities.
- The first speaker, Mira Vasic, will examine how unconscious bias does not disappear in the age of AI—instead, it can scale. Her keynote will explore how human assumptions become embedded in algorithms, influencing decisions at speed, and what leaders can do to identify, challenge, and redesign bias within intelligent systems.
- The second speaker, Quintin Laljit, in his presentation titled “The Fox and the Machine,” will focus on the mindsets and skillsets needed to thrive in the Age of AI. He will offer a pragmatic perspective on AI’s capabilities and limitations, as well as its benefits and risks for individuals and organizations. Building on this, he will outline key pathways for developing AI-first careers and companies.
Whether you are actively building your career or simply curious about how professional roles in finance are evolving, this event offers a valuable opportunity to learn, reflect, and connect.
