At the heart of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs largely focus on challenges that are most urgent in developing countries.
However, there are still few suitable investments in emerging markets that contribute to the SDGs. In today’s event we will explore concrete possibilities how to contribute to climate change mitigation, social and economic development in emerging markets, and closing the SDG financing gap while maintaining risk-return objectives.
