On 15 October, the annual research seminar, organised by IVBN and CFA Society Netherlands, will focus on the investment market. Speakers Cees-Jan Pen (lector Fontys), Peter Koppers (Fund Manager Retail Achmea Real Estate), Jurn Hoeksema (COO Northern Europe URW) and Brigit Gerritse (Head of Research & Strategy Redevco) will discuss the developments in the fundamentals, including the user market and consumer behaviour. They will also explain where they see opportunities for investors.
During the afternoon, they will answer questions about the market: What about the financials? How do investors view returns and timing? The impact of online will be discussed. What has really changed in recent years? Have expectations been met? What does the future look like? We will look at where we stand in the retail real estate cycle. In short, it promises to be an interesting afternoon about the retail sector that has been undervalued to date. The seminar will conclude with drinks.
