We are proud to announce our keynote speakers José Manuel Barroso, former president of the European Commission, and Sandra Phlippen, chief economist of ABN Amro. They will inspire us for an insightful discussion on Europe's economic outlook and the key challenges and opportunities facing the financial sector. This years’ location is the beautiful ballroom of the Hilton Apollo Hotel Amsterdam.
José Manuel Barroso is a Portuguese politician and law professor. He served from 2004 to 2014 as the 11th president of the European Commission and from 2002 to 2004 as the 114th prime minister of Portugal. Currently, he is chairman of Goldman Sachs’ International Advisors.
With Sandra Phlippen deciding to take an active role in this years' Dutch elections, we have found a superb replacement: José Manuel Barroso will be flanked by none other than Thijs Knaap, Chief Economist of APG Asset Management, largest pension fund in Europe!
Moderator Marije Groen brings 14 years of corporate experience as an event host, mainly in finance, and over 8 years as Head of Internal Communications at an asset manager.
