Join us on Tuesday, September 30th, for our Annual Dinner 2025. This is our flagship event with premier speakers and a delightful dinner. The theme is “Europe's Future: Economic Resilience and Growth in Uncertain Times”.
We are proud to announce our keynote speakers José Manuel Barroso, former president of the European Commission, and Sandra Phlippen, chief economist of ABN Amro. They will inspire us for an insightful discussion on Europe's economic outlook and the key challenges and opportunities facing the financial sector. This years’ location is the beautiful ballroom of the Hilton Apollo Hotel Amsterdam.
José Manuel Barroso is a Portuguese politician and law professor. He served from 2004 to 2014 as the 11th president of the European Commission and from 2002 to 2004 as the 114th prime minister of Portugal. Currently, he is chairman of Goldman Sachs’ International Advisors.
Sandra Phlippen is chief economist of ABN Amro (since 2020) and professor Sustainable Banking at University of Groningen (since 2023). Until 2023 Sandra was affiliated with Erasmus University Rotterdam as Assistant Professor Applied Economic (since 2010).
Moderator Marije Groen brings 14 years of corporate experience as an event host, mainly in finance, and over 8 years as Head of Internal Communications at an asset manager.
